These are a few development shots showing variable geometry and morphing texture maps. One of those texture maps (mine, of course), has been repainted in Zbrush at much higher resolution. I'm still modelling the nose to get that right, and I have quite a bit of work left on the facial animation system, but it's starting to look ok.
Deep in the uncanny valley, yes, but one day I will climb out the other end. If I just keep plodding onwards I'll get there eventually. --
